Mark Hamill Brand Partnership and Activation
In 2019, I had the rare opportunity to develop and lead a brand partnership with legendary pop culture icon Mark Hamill. I managed the entire process, from building the original concept deck and pitching to his management team to overseeing contract negotiations and alignment with internal stakeholders. The result was a high-impact collaboration that launched a collection of special edition Mark Hamill Funko Pop! figures, timed with his surprise appearance at Funko Fundays during San Diego Comic-Con. The campaign generated major buzz and was featured by Extra!, where Hamill personally recounted how the partnership came together. This was my second major talent-led product collaboration that year with an iconic film actor, both campaigns producing figures that remain highly sought-after collector grails. The activation reinforced Funko’s relevance at the intersection of fandom, legacy talent, and pop culture storytelling.
