Netflix Stranger Things Activation Fundays SDCC
While not my first Funko Fundays production, I’ve proudly served as a producer on the event since 2016. This marked a major milestone as my first fully integrated 360° campaign and celebrity collaboration. Partnering with Netflix, I led the transformation of Fundays into a fully immersive Stranger Things experience, aligning a product drop, themed installations, content strategy, and live appearances by series stars David Harbour and Maya Hawke.
This activation set a new bar for fan engagement, blending storytelling with spectacle to deliver a multi-sensory moment that resonated across in-person and digital audiences. To elevate the experience even further, I tapped into my personal network to coordinate a surprise appearance by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, creating an unforgettable crossover moment that ignited the room and delivered unmatched cultural lift.
The campaign represented a new level of creative and strategic integration, fusing IP, talent, and fandom into a singular, show-stopping event.
